What a gem!! 1st time visitor today (went for a pickleball camp) and it is really a great facility. Beautiful pickleball courts (8) and really nice office/shop/clean restrooms. Bonus was the food truck. Honestly the best taco I've ever eaten. Little challenging to find but well worth the trip from SA, SM and even Austin.
We stayed in the Morty cabin and it was just as described. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The property is well laid out with easy access to one of the seven very nice pickleball courts. We used the gazebo one night for dinner and had a great time with a nice cozy fire. Joyce and Brent were kind, attentive, and great to work with.
This has easily been our favorite campground so far! We spent two weeks here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owners are incredible and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Having a pickleball court on-site was such a fun bonus, and our neighbors were friendly, it really felt like a little community. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!
Awesome facility. 7 courts. Clean. Well kept. Not crowded ( no waiting!!) Great seating when you're not playing. Night lights for evening play. They even have glow in the dark balls and side lines for nighttime play. Great owners.
Loved our two week stay here in our Airstream. The owners were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. All our neighbors were very friendly too and there was a great sense of community here. The facilities were all pristine and very well maintained. It was fun to play lots of Pickleball during our stay too. This place is 5 stars all around and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Brett and Joyce were wonderful hosts providing great Texas hospitality (“they are good people!”) and wonderful, shaded RV sites near eight well-maintained pickleball courts. The Glow In The Dark pickleball on Saturday night was a lot of fun and is very well set up for safe play. The gazebo with fireplace by the tiny houses was the perfect place for our group to gather, have dinner, or just hang out. We highly recommend Laird’s as a destination to add to your camping itinerary, especially if pickleball is one of your things. Thank you Brett and Joyce for having us and making our stay great and look forward future visits.
What an awesome outdoor pickleball facility! There are 7 clean, state of the art courts that are run by the nicest, most personable couple around-Joyce and Brett. Plus, Coach Matt provides excellent training and tips for players of all levels. Those of us who live in the area are so fortunate to have such a beautiful and well run pickleball option available to us. And for those who are visiting the area, Joyce and Brett have RV hookups and AirBnBs on the premises. Laird’s is a true Texas treasure!
Really enjoyed our pickleball weekend with friends! 4 campers and one cabin. The courts are great. We used all the amenities, clean and well set up. We had rain one evening so we cooked and ate in the outdoor kitchen by the cabins. We even did florescent pickleball which was harder than we expected!
